Over the many years we have been running our courses, the training team at Cerco has been providing quality technical training in all aspects of I.T support and computer maintenance, including printer technology. Having worked closely with industry, and using our expertise we have developed a range of one-day printer training courses designed to suit first line support staff, on-site technicians or mobile service engineers. Cerco offer three specific one-day printer maintenance courses, all offering the detailed hands-on training that our clients have come to expect. Laser Printer Maintenance Course

Hands-on practical and theory sessions including:

* Electro-photographic & Print Engine Components.
* Fault finding & Preventative Maintenance.
* Paper motion System, Paper Types and Uses.
* Removal and Replacement Procedures.
* Typical Adjustments.
* Relevant Health & Safety Issues.

Dot Matrix Printer Maintenance Course

Hands-on practical and theory sessions including:

* Printing Techniques, Impact vs. Non-impact.
* Open/Closed Loop Servos.
* Paper Motion Systems, Paper Types and Uses.
* Interfaces - Serial & Parallel.
* Typical Adjustments.
* Fault Finding & Preventative Maintenance.

Using Printers with Microsoft Windows

Hands-on practical and theory sessions including:

* Introduction to printing with Windows.
* Windows printer installation.
* Printer pooling, Scheduling and Priority settings.
* Connecting to and using networked printers (includes HP Jet-Direct, AppleTalk, Unix and printing across the Internet).
* General Windows printer administration.
* Troubleshooting common problems.

Courses can be taken at our purpose built training facilities in Crewe, Cheshire or at your own site if required.
