Institute of I.T. Training (founder member)

The Institute of IT Training, in response to bad press regarding certain providers of commercial IT Training, have launched a campaign to protect the public from unscrupulous providers with their hard sales techniques and from the widespread practice of promising unrealistic jobs that are plaguing the industry and giving the commercial training market a bad name.

This campaign involves the formation of a steering group of training providers working to compile a rigorous accreditation programme for the personally-funded training market. Cerco is one of only 3 founder members of this steering group. The new accreditation programme encompasses not only the quality of the training delivery, but also provides a strong focus on the training providers' sales processes. The scheme exists so that the buyer is protected from misselling and only those who adhere to high standards demanded of the accreditation programme can present this 'tick' logo. Read more...

Institute of I.T. Training (Gold standard)

IITT Gold Standard Accreditation is given to a training provider which has been accredited by the Institute of IT Training for a minimum of six months, and which guarantees to its clients that all trainers used to provide external training services are in possession of a valid Certificate of Training Skills, and which can support this by documentary evidence. The guarantee includes any associate trainers used as well as employed trainers. For more information visit the IITT web site.

REC Member

REC supports and represents recruitment professionals, businesses and agencies in the UK. As a member Cerco's Recruitment team adheres to a code of practice developed to ensure that jobseekers (Fast Track graduates) and employer partners recieve the highest recruitment standards.

CompTIA

CompTIA offer a range of generic, internationally recognised certifications for the IT maintenance sector. Cerco work closely with CompTIA to offer a high standard of training for candidates who are looking to gain recognition of their skills by way of certification. We offer training towards A+, Network+, Server+, Security+ and RFID+ certifications.

Careers Transition Partnership

The Careers Transition Partnership provides free guidance, advice, and information for eligible Service Leavers about life after the military. Cerco IT Training and Recruitment is a Preferred Supplier to the CTP. This means we have been vetted, to ensure we are suitable to offer Forces Leavers a successful transition into a new career in IT Support.

e-skills UK is a not-for-profit , employer-led organisation, licensed by government as the Sector Skills Council for IT & Telecoms, and lead body for Contact Centres.

e-skills UK's mission is to ensure the UK has the skills it needs to compete in the global economy. e-skills UK brings together employers, educators and Government to address together the technology-related skills issues no one party can solve on its own. It provides advice, services and programmes that have a measurable impact on IT related skills development in the UK. Cerco is a subscribed member of the E-skills council and have been a contributor to the IT Skills steering group.
