Our Longstanding Relationship with the Forces

At Cerco, we have been training ex-forces for nearly 20 years, taking many hundreds of people from the end of their forces career to the beginning of their IT career.

Our ex-forces graduates are especially prized by our employer partners, many of whom require Security Cleared IT Support taff due to the confidentiality of the work they have to carry out (Fujitsu, for example).

We are well situated, in Crewe, as it falls within the radius allowed for accomodation at Armed Forces Centres such as Stafford.

Many of our ex-forces students find it advantageous to take the four week course during the last 8 to 12 weeks of their service, so that interviews can be arranged and they can have a job waiting for them as soon as they leave. Please contact your Resettlement Officer for information on accommodation, train passes, and when you are eligable to undertake the training course.

Facing a Medical Discharge?

We recognise the dedication of our Armed Forces, and so, last year, we launched an initiative to train, free of charge, ex-forces personel facing a Medical Discharge, subject to meeting the normal Cerco requirements.

In its first year, the scheme successfully trained 19 Medical Dischargees and set them on the road to a new, brighter future.
